We are going to make the world a better place

August 10th, 2009 No comments

We are going to make the world a better place

We are going to make and use the highest ideals and principles

We are going to use the best methods and techniques

We are going to include and take care of everybody

We are going to work out everything together and equally

Developing and learning, to do the right things, for the right reasons

On this world and beyond

To be the best that we can be

… Let’s do it now!

Please come on in and take a look around.

What can you see that would make this a reality?

Think about how your life would be if we could do this together.

You are an important part of this idea – If you join in then it belongs to you as much as anyone else here.

If you don’t think this place is of interest to you at the moment then please consider anyone you might know who might be interested or useful to this project.

Please spread the word.

The more people that get involved the more good can be done for all of us and the more it will develop into a reality. The more we can put this world right once and for all.

Using HumanityTest.org as food for thought

August 6th, 2009 2 comments

When thinking about the direction of principles used in Beyond One World I found I was completely happy with the term ‘highest ideals’. Out of interest I searched Google for the term and found Dwayne Boone’s site http://www.HumanityTest.org in that was second in rank and looked in. I found it amazing that most pages (if not all – only because I haven’t yet seen all of them yet)  have the same ideals that I have been discussing here on Beyond One World – the only connection I can think of is the ‘term’ used ‘highest ideals’. If you think about it Dwayne is completely unknown to me and probably from a completely different background but we have both come up with basically the same set of principles and ideas.

These pages are worthy of more study so I have set up a forum thread ready to do just that. To be fair Dwayne is looking for Research Volunteers so if you are interested in the topics on his pages then you could join in there. This place will be devoted to searching out the highest ideals within the site and using them.

The forum thread is at http://forums.beyondoneworld.com/idea-discussions/using-humanitytest-org-as-food-for-thought-t7.html

Experiment: Innate Agreement of Highest Ideals

August 6th, 2009 No comments

This is an experiment that could be tried on anyone, no matter what background, ideals, beliefs, religion, culture, language etc..

My hypothesis is that we all have an agreement inside of us, beyond language on what the highest ideals are. We may struggle to reach the actual concepts and definitions of them according to our ability to think of abstracts and concepts, but they all point to the same ideals. Or possibly we may get stuck on predetermined or common ideas but which if examined further can be taken to higher levels or ideals.

On this basis I am convinced that we all can reach an agreement and work out the highest ideals necessary for the Beyond One World idea to be constant and incorruptible with little change as it evolves and as a method of everyone actually agreeing on what they should be.

The experiment goes like this – ask any person what they honestly, truly think that we should be doing to create the ideal government, or to save the world, or to make the world a better place, or to help the most people in the world. You will see that we all know innately what is good, what is right and we would ideally like to see.

Something childishly simple and easy to understand gives you an idea of what is happening here if I say ‘Wouldn’t be great if everybody was nice to each other or helped each other’. I know that isn’t exactly a solid foundation but it is a solid principle in our minds, no matter who we are. Another simplistic way that proves the point is ‘Wouldn’t it be great if everybody loved each other and there was no such thing as hate’. Within these childish expressions are powerful ideals that exist in everyone – I personally think would exist in any species that could handle the concepts of nice, love, hate etc..

You will see that nobody on Earth will think that destroying life is a good thing unless of course indoctrinated to a point of madness.

I am sure that my hypothesis stands and can only be verified by getting as many people as possible to answer the question that is most important here – What are the highest ideals that we as souls living in this universe can achieve? If the question is too abstract then there are many forms of it just as useful that can be answered with the powerful question ‘Why?!’.

Try it yourself – try to reach the highest ideals possible by answering any of the following questions you think you can answer as honestly and truthfully as you can.

  • What are the highest ideals that we as souls living in this universe can achieve?
  • What principles should be have in creating the ideal government?
  • What should we do to save the world?
  • What can we do to make the world a better place?
  • What should we do to help the most people in the world?
  • What do you think are the highest achievements possible to us?

It always helps when an answer comes to ask ‘Why?’ – this ultimately brings out the concepts that are innate and in my belief in all of us.

Please have a go at this yourself and post your answer in the forums at http://forums.beyondoneworld.com/idea-discussions/highest-ideals-experiment-t5.html. Let’s see how many of us actually agree on them at this early stage.

What can be done to create this project?

How can the Beyond one World idea be forged?

At the risk of the Google Duplicate Content faceslap here is another old page.

The idea starts off simply with the ability to allow everyone inspired by it to collaborate and work together on it. To shape the idea, define it, suggest, improve and create a system whereby decisions can be made to develop it.
It needs a place, a home, one which has the power to offer the tools and the accessibility to reach every person on the globe. It needs the commitment and visibility to show that this place is the forge for creating the means which every individual can commit to – to create the framework by which we all want to live by.
It requires three elements to initiate it:-

  • The commitment of an online authority to give it visibility, to encourage it and then the moral courage to let it grow by itself.
  • The tools and connectivity to allow everyone who wishes to collaborate and effectively work together.
  • The vision, the commitment and the work of all and every individual who takes part in creating it

The first step is visibility of the vision and the call to arms –

It needs YOU, your ideas, your vision, your imagination, your knowledge, your questions, your participation … let us all create together the most wonderful system that we are all capable of producing. One which can develop and grow with us through the 21st Century, just as we are about to embark on our steps beyond one world and one which will help each individual within it, now and those to follow,  to accomplish all that they can possibly be.

I see the first elements for discussion and collaboration in the following areas:-

  • What principles should we as a community (or even as a species) uphold. What is our mission, our purpose, our goals, what do we want to achieve or aim for.
  • What should be the rights of every individual who belongs to this community. What are the unrevocable rights we should expect every being to have without question.
  • What are the duties and obligations of each one? What should be expected and what can be done to fulfil them? What roles are available within the system to enable us to help each other.
  • What processes and tools are needed to enable every individual to take part with equality, to empower the individual with a voice and a method of collaborating with others?
  • What are the best decision making processes that we can create today? How do we ensure it is absolutely fair and effective?
  • What methods can be learned from the online community already that can be instigated to enable the system to grow in a manageable and efficient way? What change controls can we create that enable absolute participation and efficiency?
  • What safeguards and protection can we put in immediately and consistently that will ensure the whole system is always transparent and visible to all that use it? All informationn within the system will always be freely and easily available to all who use it, recording all decisions and decision making to allow us to look back and learn better ways.
  • What system can be put in place to enable ideas to be created, worked on and forged into usable and useful methods and processes with the system? This ‘ideas forge’ will should allow anyone to participate in a positive way to ensure that we all have a say in how things should or could be.

What are the goals of the Human Race?

August 6th, 2009 No comments

What are its principles?

Another incomplete page – deserving of much more work…

The human race throughout history has shown common goals, some positive, some negative, some that are innate in any life. The most prominent in times of trouble have been survival. There is not however a statement of these goals that apply to us all – nowhere is there a place that we can refer to globally as the jointly agreed on set of goals and principles by which we will. In our regional systems we spend a lot of time in competition and conflict and throughout history so much has been lost in effort, knowledge and resources.

Imagine if we could separate out from our regional set of goals and principles a universally agreed upon set of values by which we all agree to and work towards. In creating this set of principles we mobilise the whole world towards fixing the global (universal) issues that face us all. We have shown in times of great turmoil a great character for helping each other and overcoming the most horrific obstacles – so if this energy was combined imagine what the human race would be capable of achieving.

What are the most positive, most beautiful and creative goals, principles or set of values that we can create? Will they change through time? Will they evolve as our understanding of the universe increases?
